PAUL FRANKLIN DANO (Don) Paul Dano Paul recently won a Best Young Actor award from the Broadcast Film Critics Association for the role of Dwayne in the smash hit film Little Miss Sunshine. His breakout role in the coming-of-age drama, L.I.E., opposite Brian Cox garnered him an Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance as well as the Best Actor Award at the Stockholm Film Festival. Dano began his acting career on the New York stage with supporting roles on Broadway including “A Month In The Country” opposite Helen Mirren; “A Christmas Carol” with Ben Vereen and Terrence Mann; and “Inherit The Wind” opposite George C. Scott and Charles Durning. In addition to a recurring role on “The Sopranos,” Dano has consistently tackled different roles in his feature career. Highlights include: The Emperor’s Club opposite Kevin Kline, Fast Food Nation, Rebecca Miller’s The Ballad of Jack and Rose (2005 Sundance Film Festival) opposite Daniel Day Lewis and James Marsh’s The King opposite Gael Garcia Bernal and William Hurt. He co-stars, again, opposite Daniel Day Lewis in P.T. Anderson’s soon-to-be released There Will Be Blood, and also lent his voice to Spike Jonze's upcoming feature adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic Where The Wild Things Are..
MICHAEL ESPER (Paul) Michael was born in New York City, went to high school in Brooklyn, and after a brief stint at Oberlin College, attended the BFA program at Rutgers University. Since graduating he co-starred in the films Bittersweet Place with Elisabeth Moss and Seymour Cassel (dir. Alexandra Brodsky) and Loggerheads with Bonnie Hunt (dir. Tim Kirkman), which is premiered at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival; as well as appearing in A Beautiful Mind, and American Gun. New York stage work includes Eric Bogosian's "SubUrbia" at Second Stage Theater, "Big Bill" at Lincoln Center, "Gone Missing" (with The Civillians) at The Belt, "The Arizona Rule" (Naked Angels), and "Moon Bath Girl" (EST).
PAZ DE LA HUERTA (Annette) Actress, model and muse, Actress, model and muse, Paz del la Huerta first became known for her work in The Cider House Rules. Recent feature films credits include: Bringing Rain, Homework, Griffin Dunne's Fierce People, Steven Kressler's 5Up 2Down with Isach Da Bankolé. Henry Jaglom's Hollywood Dreams, Noah Buschel's Neal Cassidy and the upcoming films Anamorph and The Guitar.
MICHAEL WRIGHT (Randall) Michael Wright is best known to audiences for his searing portrayal of lead singer Eddie King, Jr. in Robert Townsend's The Five Heartbeats and for his work as Omar White on the long-running HBO series "Oz." Select feature film credits include: Point Blank, Pinero, Money Talks, The Cottenwood, Confessions of a Hitman, Sugar Hill and The Interpreter.
EUGENE BRYD (Kaz) Eugene has been acting in film and television for over twenty years. Film credits include Jim Jarmusch's Dead Man, Barry Levinson's Sleepers and Lift, an independent film about the fine art of high-end shoplifting that debuted at Sundance and aired on Showtime in 2002. Eugene also played Wink, the duplicitous promoter friend of Jimmy, played by Eminem, in "8 Mile." He's starred in the independent films Confess and Buds for Life (which he also co-produced) and co-stars in Armada Film's One Point Zero. He was a series regular in NBC's "Crossing Jordan" and has guest starred in the television series "ER", "The Ghost Whisperer", "Without a Trace", "Shark" and has a recurring role on the hit NBC series "Heroes."
ANGELICA TORN (Marilla) Angelica recently performed in the British revival of Ariel Dorfman's Death and the Maiden. In New York and London, she premiered Edge, the one-woman play about Sylvia Platt written and directed by Paul Alexander, for which she received and Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for outstanding solo performance of 2003. She made her Broadway and west End debuts in Tony-Award- winning Sideman, for which she was honored with the New York's People Choice Award for best supporting actress in the role of Patsy and the coveted Helen Hayes Award for best actress in the role of Terry. Ms. Torn made her stage debut in Vivat Vivat Regina, which starred her mother, Geraldine Page. Her other credits include Anna Christie (Roundabout); The Bea, Light Up the Sky, Still Living, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (PBT/Artistic Residence); Tennessee Williams's Red Devil Battery Sign (WPA); Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe (Coconut Grove Playhouse/Carbonell Award Nomination). Her television credits include Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The Sopranos, 100 Centre Street, The Education of Max Bickford, Deadline, In the Line of Fire, D.C., As the World Turns, Songs in Ordinary Time (CBS), and Ruby's Bucket of Blood (Showtime). Her film credits include Domestic Disturbance, The Contender, Nobody's Fool, Borough of Kings, Tom Diary, Fast Food, Fast Women and The Sixth Sense.
